At St. Peters, we encourage parents to baptize their young children. Of course, we baptize adults, too! But we believe that its important and valid to baptize babies as well. The practice of infant baptism often elicits questions: why does the church do this? What's the biblical basis for it? Doesn't infant baptism violate the importance of "taking a choice for Christ"? These are the questions with which this E&B session will deal. As we explore the nature of baptism in the life of God's people, we're argue that the onus for infant baptism is not so much with those who support it but rather with those who would deny it.
