Within the wider Christian family, there are a variety of church bodies and denominations. The list includes the Roman Catholic Church, the Orthodox Churches, and the Protestant Churches. St Peters Fireside is in the latter grouping. But what does it mean to be a Protestant Christian? Why does this matter? Is it a good thing?
These are the questions that will addressed in this E & B session. In a time when many young adults in North America are looking with longing at the Roman Catholic Church, what can be said in defence of the Protestant Christian tradition?
Guest speaker Rev. Prof. Richard Topping leads this session. As a top Canadian scholar of Protestant history & theology, Dr. Topping makes the case for the Protestant Project.
